Background

Fae grew up in the sleepy village of Fallgourd Float in Gridania, where her parents ran a quaint apothecary. They were practical, grounded people, expecting Fae to follow their path and one day inherit the family business. But Fae was anything but practical. She loved dressing up in bright colors, talking to strangers, and wandering the forests to imagine she was a great adventurer.When her parents insisted she attend the Studium to “grow up and find focus,” Fae reluctantly agreed. But instead of studying aetherial theory or herbology, she fell in love with the bustling life of Sharlayan. The markets, the parties, the constant flow of people from all over Eorzea—it was everything Fallgourd Float wasn’t. Shopping districts full of shimmering fabrics, vibrant accessories, and exotic perfumes became her personal playground. If there was a new boutique or pop-up market in Old Sharlayan, you could bet Fae was the first one there, trying on everything (and often buying it, even if it left her completely broke).

While she's managed to make a lot of friends at her school and become quite popular, the academic life just isn't for her. Even though she's supposed to be studying she often times ends up dozing off during classes or just out right skipping them to go on shopping sprees or to venture to new places to meet new people and sorts. While these adventures of her's are often pleasant and fun for her, some end in less than ideal ways. Her air-headedness leads her to be too trusting in people. Even those that don't have her best intentions in mind and she finds herself in situations she clearly should be in. And while she's learning from these experiences, it's a slow progress for her as expected.So for now, she just finds herself skipping class, drinking boba, and having the time of her life.
